A tub of 100 Better Brew Campden Tablets. Campden Tablets are used at the end of fermentation to prevent bacterial contamination and oxidisation during bottling. Campden tablets also aid stability. They can also be used to produce a sterilising solution to use as a preservative or as sterilising ingredients before use. Use 1 tablet per gallon (4.5 litres) of wine at the end of fermentation, before bottling. Or use 2 tablets to fully stabilise. A sterilising solution can be made by crushing 5 Campden tablets in 1 pint of hot water.
