This kit contains all the equipment you need to get going making three batches of mead. It includes 3 different Mead Yeasts and a copy of our very own Mead Journal which, as well as containing all the information you need to get started, also includes 5 Mead recipes. It is the perfect way to get started making your own Honey Wine at home, and the ultimate gift for the budding Mead Maker in your life.

The Ultimate 3 Meads Brewing Kit Contents

• 1 gallon (5 litre) fermentation bucket
• 1 lid for bucket with bored hole, fitted with a black pvc grommet to keep an airlock in place
• 2 PET demijohns including lids with pre-bored holes and grommets to keep airlocks in place
• 3 Bubbler Airlocks with caps
• 1 100g tub of VWP cleaner/steriliser
• 3 stick-on thermometers
• 3 mead sachets as follows: 1x Almost Off Grid MO5 Mead Yeast, 1x Bulldog Mead Yeast and Nutrient and 1x Lalvin D47. This kit is the ultimate way to test all 3 of these well-loved yeasts to decide which one you like the best
• 1 triple scale hydrometer stored in a plastic tube which can also be used as a trial jar
• 1 complete syphon (small) including a sediment trap, rigid syphon tube, PVC tubing and tap
• 36 re-usable plastic topped corks for bottling at the end. These can be pressed in to standard wine bottles by hand, you don't need a corker. White topped corks are typically the corks used by mead makers entering their mead into competitions
• 36 straight corks for standard wine bottles - these will need a corker (not included)
• a plastic spoon for mixing
• a plastic jug and funnel for easy mixing and bottling
• 3 kraft tags for keeping track of your mead making - simply use them to record and tick off which parts of each process you have completed, then tie to the fermenting vessel
• An Almost Off Grid Mead Journal containing 5 mead recipes and all the information you need to start making mead.

The 5 Mead Recipes included in the Journal are: Basic Mead Recipe, Cyser (Apple Mead), Mixed Berry Mead, Dandelion Mead and Sparkling Elderflower Mead. Bottles, a corker and Mead Ingredients are not included.
