Almost Off Grid 25 Litre Deluxe Wine and Cider Making Starter Kit with 2 PET demijohns

Almost Off Grid Deluxe Equipment Starter Kit for making up to 23 litres of Wine or Cider. This equipment kit is ideal for making wine from garden grapes (or any other fruit) and/or cider from garden apples.

Simply get your ingredients together and you're ready to get started making your own wine or cider at home. 

Kit includes:

• 25 Litre Bucket
• Lid for bucket pre-bored with a hole, with a grommet fitted 
• 3 x Bubbler airlocks which let air out but don't allow bacteria or fruit flies in
• 2 PET demijohns, capacity 4.5 litres (the equivalent of 6 bottles) each, ready bored with a hole and with a rubber grommet fitted
• Almost Off Grid Syphon which includes a sediment trap, rigid syphon tube, PVC tubing, and a tap to control the flow which makes bottling much easier
• Triple scale glass hydrometer stored in a plastic tube to ensure it gets to you in one piece, which can also be used as a trial jar, with instructions included
• 3 x LCD stick on thermometers
• Mixing Paddle
• A 100g tub of cleaner/steriliser
• 3 guidance sheets: making wine from garden grapes, making cider from garden apples and an overview of making beer, wine and cider from kits.

Having a comprehensive starter kit like this gives you a variety of homebrewing options. You can start fermenting wine or cider in the 25 litre bucket, then transfer it to one or both of the 4.5 litre demijohns. Then you can start a third batch in the 25 litre bucket, fit the airlock to the lid and have three batches brewing at the same time. This is ideal in the summer/autumn when grapes, blackberries, apples etc all ripen at around the same time.
